This Is Afghanistan? (You Won't Believe it's Afghanistan)

We travel from Kabul to Mazar-i-Sharif, where we explore the city and learn about life in northern Afghanistan. We visit a Skateistan facility, meet girls and coaches who use skateboarding to build confidence and community, and try traditional ice cream made with milk, ice, and salt. We also reflect on Afghanistan’s ongoing insecurity while highlighting the country’s people, food, and everyday life beyond the headlines.
