We explored Baku during a 24-hour visit, taking in the waterfront, modern architecture, Fountain Square, and the historic Old City. We enjoyed a traditional Azerbaijani lunch in an underground restaurant and tried Turkish ice cream. We also rode the funicular up toward the Flame Towers for panoramic city views before ending our day and preparing to fly to Kazakhstan.
