This Tribe Measures Wealth in Cows (South Sudan)

We traveled to South Sudan and spent two days living with the Mundari, learning how their lives, wealth, food, marriages, and traditions revolve around their cows. We witnessed their daily routines, including caring for the cattle, using cow urine and dung, preparing food, dancing, and gathering as a community. We also experienced the challenges of traveling through a country affected by conflict, extreme weather, limited medical access, and the need for armed protection.
