Traveling to the Americas’ Most Successful "Dictatorship"

We travel to El Salvador with Oscar Sr. and Oscar Jr. to explore the country’s transformation from one of the most dangerous places in the world into a much safer destination, while examining the controversy surrounding President Bukele’s policies. We visit San Salvador, Oscar Sr.’s hometown and childhood home, and hear about his escape from political violence, journey to the United States, and years of hard work. We also meet locals, explore Suchitoto and Lake Coatepeque, witness the contrast between wealth and poverty, and surprise Oscar Sr. with jet skiing and a helicopter flight.
