Ugly Truth Luang Prabang Alms Ceremony

We got up early in Luang Prabang to observe the alms ceremony, where monks walk through the streets collecting food, but we found the main route crowded with tourists taking intrusive photographs. We moved to the side streets, where the ceremony felt more authentic and respectful. Later, we returned to our guesthouse, searched for coffee, and climbed more than 300 steps toward a temple.
