Van Life in America's Highest City (training for the Leadville 100)

We spend two weeks in Leadville, Colorado, where we practice crewing and complete Nate’s final long training runs for the Leadville 100 ultramarathon. We test race-day food, pacing, gear, and aid-station logistics while navigating a difficult run through heavy rain and lightning. We also prepare to crew our friend Rick in the Leadville 100 MTB race and discuss how he is taking on the challenge with essentially one lung.
