Village Babushka Dances For Englishman In Russia

We travelled by bus to a remote village near Krasnoslobodsk to hear the Moksha language and learn a few words. We met a Moksha-speaking woman who showed us her banya, home, religious traditions, and traditional holiday clothing, and she sang for us. We then headed back to Saransk, pleased to have found what we were looking for without needing vodka.
