Visiting South America's Troubled Nation

We begin our journey in Cusco, exploring its historic streets, Inca heritage, murals, and local culture before setting off toward Abancay. Because protests have shut down roads and bus services, we travel by shared taxi through the Andes, passing military patrols, damaged buildings, roadblocks, and the source of rivers flowing toward the Amazon. After stopping in Abancay, we continue toward Andahuaylas by bus, coping with altitude, winding mountain roads, delays, and further protest-related obstacles.
