Walking Jamaica's Dangerous Streets (urban war zone)

We drove from Kingston to Montego Bay and explored neighborhoods affected by gang violence, poverty, robberies, and heavy police and military presence. We spoke with local residents and business owners about crime, scamming, the decline of tourism in local communities, and limited access to beaches. We also visited the more affluent and tourist-oriented parts of Montego Bay, including public beaches, resorts, and the coast.
