Walking Streets of Lima, Peru (Exploring Dangerous Neighbourhood)

We explore Lima, visiting the Alto Peru community with a local guide and learning how its project supports street children through surfing and Muay Thai. We walk through the neighborhood, hear about its history of drug-related crime and Venezuelan migration, meet a family of boat builders, and take in the views over the coast. We then visit Lima’s more upscale areas and reflect on the project’s efforts to improve the community.
