Walking Through Yemen’s Ancient Vertical City (Shibam)

We explore Wadi Dohan, a canyon filled with villages built from mud bricks, where we meet friendly residents, see traditional ways of life, and join a Yemeni wedding celebration. We also visit Shibam, known as the Manhattan of the Desert, with its hundreds of ancient mud-brick towers. Along the way, we see local children, farmers, colorful buildings, and peaceful village life.
