We Lived With A Local Family In Bhutan (life in a rural village)

We flew from Bangladesh to Bhutan, explored Punakha Dzong, and traveled to a remote village near Punakha to stay with our guide’s family. We ate traditional Bhutanese food, tried butter tea and beetle nut, joined the villagers for archery, and learned how they process rice. We slept in the family home, toured the traditional house, milked a cow, collected cow dung to fertilize the rice fields, and said goodbye to the welcoming village.
