We Met the #1 Sumo Wrestler in the World (with Samurai Haircuts...)

We traveled to Japan and worked for two weeks to arrange a meeting with Asashōryū Akinori, the former top-ranked sumo wrestler. We arrived at a prestigious Tokyo hotel with samurai-style haircuts, an interpreter, and no idea how the meeting would go after a communication mix-up upset him. Our unusual haircuts helped break the ice, and we ended up laughing, arm-wrestling, taking a selfie, and having a memorable conversation.
