We Stayed With Monks In Bhutan (a touching story)

We traveled from Thimphu into the mountains and hiked nearly 1,000 vertical meters to reach a remote monastery. We met the young monks, stayed in their guest room, shared meals, and learned from the head monk about reviving the monastery and caring for 80 children from difficult backgrounds. The next morning, we joined the monks for their wake-up prayers and hiked to the top of the mountain before returning for lunch.
