We visited Northern Virginia’s largest Bolivian community in the United States and explored its culture through a full day of traditional food, including salteñas, empanadas, cow tripe soup, silpancho, and other dishes. We attended a Bolivian soccer tournament and community fundraisers, learning how strongly the community supports its members and families in Bolivia. We finished our food tour at several restaurants and reflected on how the experience made us feel like we were traveling internationally again.
