We Visited Unbelievable Places in China (that actually exist)

We began our trip in Shanghai at the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland, an underground hotel built in an abandoned quarry, where we explored the underwater suite, watched a light show, crossed a glass bridge, and braved a rope swing. We then visited Wang Shan Village, a fantastical cliffside town filled with photogenic scenery, local food stalls, waterfalls, and traditional ear cleaning. We also experienced a tie-dye activity and rated the village highly despite its artificial, theme-park-like atmosphere.
