What Did I just Step On Inside This Church?!

We drove an Uzbekistani car to Ust-Kulom in the Komi Republic, crossing remote roads and a Soviet wooden bridge before discovering a beautiful church filled with potatoes. We explored a village club, heard women sing in Komi, and struggled with the paperwork and conditions at our hotel. The next day, we searched several villages for Komi speakers, eventually finding a celebration where we learned some words and songs before quietly escaping to avoid performing on stage.
