We explore Comoros, learning about its history, flag, languages, culture, and predominantly Muslim population while traveling around with local friends. We try local food, visit beaches, mountains, volcanoes, the salt lake, and the capital city of Moroni with its mosques, colonial buildings, markets, and pleasant streets. We also discover that the country is inexpensive, laid-back, difficult to reach, and rarely visited by tourists.
