What is Svalbard? (More Polar Bears than People!)

We explore Svalbard, the northernmost inhabited place on Earth, learning about its small international population, its towns, and the precautions residents take because of polar bears. We go dog sledding, see Longyearbyen’s colorful houses and Arctic wildlife, and experience the 24-hour summer daylight. We also prepare to continue our journey on an expedition cruise to Greenland and Iceland.
