What It's Like Inside Chernobyl (is it safe?)

We visited the Chernobyl exclusion zone, using Geiger counters to measure radiation as we explored evacuated villages, an abandoned preschool, radioactive burial sites, and areas near reactor 4. We also explored Pripyat, including its abandoned shops, theater, town square, and the highly contaminated Red Forest. After undergoing radiation checks, we stayed at the only private hotel inside the exclusion zone.
