What travel is really like in 2020 (Serbia border crossing)

We got a PCR test in Romania, fixed our car, changed its winter tires, and prepared to leave after two months in the country. We drove across the Serbia border, where officials thoroughly checked our documents before we continued to Belgrade. We then reflected on how the pandemic has changed travel and devastated the tourism industry, while questioning whether prolonged lockdowns and restrictions are the best way forward.
