Who Are The Amish People of America? (Pennsylvania)

We visited Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, to learn about the Amish and their traditional Christian beliefs and way of life. We explored their simple living, plain clothing, limited use of modern technology, Pennsylvania German language, schools, large families, and work in farming and trades. We also learned about their privacy, religious rules, and the reasons many Amish people remain separate from the modern world.
