Wonders of the World - Suez Canal, Egypt | Suez Canal

We explored the Suez Canal in Port Said, learning about its history, its importance to global trade, and how it separates Africa from Asia. We visited the canal’s harbor, learned about Port Said’s role in the 1956 conflict, and experienced the city’s simsimiyya musical heritage at a wedding. We also sampled local seafood and traditional foods at the fish market.
