Wooly Monkeys & Giant Boas | Amazon Luxury Cruise Day 2

We took a dinghy along the Europa River, where we saw squirrel monkeys, gray and pink dolphins, and yellow-rumped caciques, and learned that seeing monkeys can indicate a lower risk of mosquito-borne diseases. We then reached the meeting point of two rivers at the mouth of the Amazon before heading out in the rain for a hike along the Kasual Trail. During the hike, we discovered a tarantula, a poisonous frog, and the biggest snake we had ever seen—a three- to four-meter red-tailed boa.
