World's Best Drummers (Burundi)

We road-tripped around Burundi, played golf at the country’s only course, and explored its beaches and coffee plantations before traveling to Gishora. There, we watched passionate drummers perform with handmade cow-skin drums, dancing, singing, flips, and drums carried on their heads. We also toured the village, learned about its royal drum history, and heard why drumming is such an important part of Burundian culture.
