World’s Hottest City (140 Degrees!!)

We visit Jahra and other parts of Kuwait during the peak summer heat to learn how people live in temperatures reaching around 55 degrees Celsius. We explore malls, farms, and the desert near the Saudi border, where we share meals and experience the hospitality of local families. We also visit an oasis and a sustainable desert settlement, test how quickly an egg cooks on a hot car, and struggle to remain outside in the extreme heat.
