World's Newest Overwater Villas (Saudi Arabia)

We traveled to Saudi Arabia to visit Shebara, one of the first resorts in the Red Sea Project, and see whether its futuristic overwater villas were as impressive in person as they looked online. We toured the island, explored the pools, beach, restaurants, spa, gym, and other facilities, then visited our modern villa overlooking the Red Sea. We also learned about the resort’s solar power, alcohol-free service, construction, and ambitious role in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 development.
