You Won't Believe This Is Europe In 2019!

We explored the nearly deserted village of Kharochevka, speaking with residents about the lack of services, low incomes, isolation, and the danger of wolves. We visited the war memorial and cemetery, reflecting on the families lost during the Second World War and the effects of the Chernobyl radiation. We also examined abandoned homes, a shop, and a former house of culture before leaving the village by bus for Gomel.
