You Won't Believe This Russian Road!

We started in Yoshkar-Ola, explored its abandoned bus station and unusual architecture, and traveled by taxi along some of the worst roads in Russia toward Morki. Along the way, we visited a Soviet factory, admired a preserved mosaic bus stop, and stopped at a scenic lake. In Morki, we met Lowland Mari people, heard their language, learned about Mari culture and pagan traditions, and practiced a few phrases before heading back.
