Your Perfume Grows Here... In Egypt!

We visit Shubra Blula, a village in northern Egypt surrounded by jasmine fields, and explore how residents hand-pick the flowers overnight. We learn that the harvest is sent to a nearby factory, where the jasmine is processed into aromatic oil and exported worldwide for perfume. We also see the difficult working conditions and the long hours involved in producing this important ingredient.
